RC speed run cars: what fits your driving?
RCCritic is research-led: we use maker data and published sources. We have not done hands-on tests yet.
Use this group only on a large, closed, permitted paved course with a clear run-off area. A maker speed claim is a setup-specific figure, not a promise for your first run.
Do not run them in traffic, near people or in a shared skate park. Begin with the maker’s reduced throttle setting.
Which scale and space should you plan for?
The 1/7 INFRACTION and LIMITLESS are long, heavy cars. Check the measured dimensions and course rules before considering the speed figure.
What battery and extra items will you need?
Read the full pack system requirement. Two packs in series add voltage, not mAh; charger compatibility and battery fit still apply.
RTR means ready-to-run. It does not guarantee a drive battery, charger, wall power supply or transmitter batteries. Each model page has a separate-purchase list.
Which models span the listed prices?
From current RTR listings with a supported USD price: lowest, middle and highest maker list price. This is a price rule, not a driving assessment.
What does the filtered catalogue show?

How fast are these vehicles?
Speed figures below are maker claims with their stated setup. If no supported claim was captured, we show “not published”; they are not measured results.
- INFRACTION 6S V2: 80+ mph with optional gearing and 6S power; maker claim
- LIMITLESS 120 8S: 120+ mph with optional included speed gearing and 8S power; maker claim, closed course only
Can you increase battery cells later?
Only if the exact ESC, motor and vehicle manual allow that cell count and pack size. A compatible connector alone is not enough. Read the battery guide.
Which sources support this page?
Use the exact model code when checking a maker page. The read date is a record of our research, not a promise that a listing stays unchanged.
