RC / FIELD NOTES 2026-11-04

Editorial standards

RCCritic is research-led: we use maker data and published sources. We have not done hands-on tests yet.

How do we select and compare models?

We cover the types and brands named in the approved site scope. Driving pages state their type, scale, RTR, dimension and water-wording filters. Price shortlists choose the lowest, middle and highest supported maker list prices. These are rules, not performance scores.

How do we handle missing or conflicting data?

Each catalogue field keeps a source URL and read date. Missing or unsupported values read “not published.” A failed source read does not prove a maker never publishes the field. Older Traxxas references remain clearly unconfirmed; current pages get separate exact codes.

What evidence do the pages represent?

Maker speed figures keep setup qualifications when captured. We do not infer current draw from an ESC rating. We have no hands-on testing evidence, ratings or product photographs in this build.

How do commercial links work?

No affiliate links are active in this build. Merchant relationships for this website are not confirmed.

Staged merchant destinations stay off until website and merchant approval. We do not create a disclosure that implies a relationship that is not active.

How can you raise a correction?

A public correction contact is not published yet. Follow the source beside the field to check the exact model and date.
