What does a checklist sign-up store?

When configured, the site’s Cloudflare Worker stores a numeric ID, normalised email address, source page, selected checklist, consent text, creation time and a SHA-256 hash of your IP address plus a private secret in Cloudflare D1. The raw IP address is not stored in that table.

Why do we store these details?

We record the requested checklist and your consent for a monthly RCCritic email. Duplicate email submissions update the source, checklist, consent and hash in one record. The original creation time stays unchanged. A honeypot field drops likely automated submissions without storing them.

What is configured in this saved build?

The form returns the PDF link after a successful database write. It does not send email. Database provisioning, the private hash secret and a newsletter delivery service remain release work. If storage is unavailable, the form reports an error and does not claim a sign-up was saved.

How can you request deletion or unsubscribe?

Public deletion contact: not published yet. A working deletion and unsubscribe contact must be published before collecting public sign-ups or sending newsletters. There is no automated unsubscribe endpoint in this build.

Where do calculator entries and comparisons go?

Calculations run locally in your browser. Comparison choices and filter settings are in the page URL so you can copy them. There are no accounts, advertising trackers or local-storage records in this build.

What may other services receive?

The host can receive request details such as IP address and headers; hosting retention settings need release confirmation. External maker and retailer links follow their own privacy policies. No affiliate buttons are active in this saved build.
