Bought this for my 5yo son. This is a good first real rc car for him to learn with. I have previously owned Traxxas models so I knew that it would stand up to the abuse a learning kid would put it through. The training mode was a big selling feature no need for top speed when learning the basics it also extends battery life. I also bought a charger and spare battery so I can have… read more one on the charger while he is playing with the truck. He loves the fact that this can drive through the grass.

Great starter RC car, my 12 years son and I have a blast with it. Especially on a sand/dirt ground like a baseball field.
