Bought 2 Bandits. One for my grandson. We’ve had a blast running these cars together! I was concerned at first because he’s 7 and sure enough, he had a few BAD crashes on the first day. Like head on straight into a concrete curb at full throttle. The Bandit survived with NO damage. (We did have the aftermarket RPM large front bumper installed). This is my first RC car since 1988 ( Traxxas- the Cat ) . I am very happy with this Bandit. Much faster than I expected, good control , battery life isn't bad . It seems quite rugged. The grandkids seem to aim for solid objects, and no damage so far.

Our 11 year old son lives this car. There is a “training mode” that cuts the speed in half for younger drivers to learn how to handle the car before going full throttle. Be aware that it down not come with a wall charger- we should have read more carefully. The charger must be plugged into a DC port of a car. A wall adapter is available for about $25 which we recommend purchasing.
