This is my first RC car as an adult and it well exceeded my expectations! This thing is very fast and the controls are smooth, now my 8 year old son wants one (he may be able to control it using the 50% training mode). The DC battery charger that came with it is pretty much terrible trying to charge it in the car so I paid the $50 to get the EZ Peak charger and is well worth the… read more money. The other thing is (like other people) I stripped out the gears in the steering Servo after jumping it off a ramp pretty hard. i was able to buy the part to replace it pretty easily for about $35. I also got an extra battery (niMH) and the adapter to run 2 batteries at once and could barely control it going that fast! I feel like a kid again.
