This is an excellent kit to upgrade the stock Traxxas 2085 servo. My X-Maxx 8s 2085 servo went through several plastic gears until I bought the new 2085X; however the motor failed in less than a month. After installing this upgrade in my old 2085 servo I've been running strong with no failures ever since. I highly recommend this metal servo upgrade kit for the stock 2085 Traxxas… read more servo. I've been so happy with it that I haven't reinstalled the replacement 2085X I got back from Traxxas under the 30 warranty.
