Would not recommend these for your Maxx 4s, unless you need parts on the cheap. I bought these thinking they may help with chassis slap. I ended up running stock Maxx shocks with 70wt shock oil in the front with the stock rear progressive shock springs. I have used these GPM shocks mainly for parts. I disassembled and am now using the aluminum spring adjusters and silver springs… read more in the stock rear shock body with 80wt shock oil. Works great. I am curious about swapping out the piston these shocks came with for something that offers more dampening. The stock piston in the GPM shocks simply does not dampen the shock, too much oil is displaced in the stroke of the shock making for a super springy ride. Hope this helps someone out!
