Good Shocks, But....(on a Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL)

These shocks seem to have a good build quality and look really nice, however, the rear piggyback reservoirs when faced outward rub the body way more than you would ever want. When you turn the reservoirs inward, they are in the way of the body mount clip. You WILL have to modify the plastic around the body clip in order for them to face inward and not rub the body. Also, be sure read more that you loctite the lower links to the shock shafts. They will loosen on their own and fall apart (noob mistake...). Also, mine did have shock oil in them, but only about half full. So, you will need to disassemble, fill, and bleed right off the bat. If I had it to do over again, I would skip the piggybacks just because they are so much in the way of the body in the rear. The fronts are fine, but they MUST be inward facing. Be aware also that spare parts are not readily available as of this writing. My second time out with these shocks, I ended up bending the right rear shaft somehow. Was a little surprised since I wasn't really doing anything that the car wasn't designed to do.
