There are several key differences between the Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL RTR Truck and the Traxxas Rustler XL-5 RTR 1/10 RC Stadium Truck. The biggest difference is that the Rustler 4x4 VXL is a brushless motor powered truck while the Rustler XL-5 uses a brushed motor. Brushless motors are typically more powerful and efficient than brushed motors. The Rustler 4x4 VXL also comes with a 3S LiPo battery pack which is capable of delivering significantly more power than the NiMH battery pack that is included with the Rustler XL-5. As a result, the Rustler 4x4 VXL will be able to reach higher speeds than theRustler XL-5.
